Banana Chocolate Cupcakes Recipe Demonstration
Recipe here: joyofbaking.com Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Banana Chocolate Cupcakes. It is hard to beat the combination of bananas and chocolate. While I enjoy bananas flavored with ground cinnamon in a banana bread, my favorite banana dessert is these Banana Chocolate Cupcakes where mashed ripe bananas are mixed in a batter along with cocoa powder. Their flavor is rich and their texture is moist and when you top each cupcake with a creamy smooth Chocolate Fudge Frosting my sweet tooth is instantly satisfied.

Decorating Cupcakes #8: Moose
This idea is from the book "What's new cupcake" By Richardson and Tack Music by: Jason Shaw www.youtube.com Opening(JustAVlogger) I recommend you make these up to the point of dipping and then add the icing details, eyes, smile, nostrils, extra fur. Refrigerate them until just before serving then put in the ears and antlers. These need to be served within a hour or two of assembly to they look their best.

Decorating Cupcakes #47 The Apple
Decorating Cupcakes #47 The Apple
Found this idea in "What's new cupcake" by Richardson and Tack I recommend using homemade butter cream for this as the commercial stuff is just too thin and runny. If you use the tootsie roll stem and fruit roll up leaves put them in only a day or a few hour before serving, they will get soggy if left in too long. I also recommend using red cupcake liners, it would be much cuter. You could also make one apple with a "bite" taken out of it by putting some white icing in an indentation on the side and even add a gummy worm! :) If you don't have tootsie rolls you can use any kind of soft toffee or caramel. You could easily make leaves by rolling out green gumdrops and cutting them into leaf shapes as well.

Decorating Cupcakes #17: Halloween Frozen Ghost
These Halloween ghost cupcakes have a surprise ice cream center. ***NOTE : I recommend that if you plan on using M&Ms for the eyes and need to freeze these for any length of time prior to serving, you should put the eyes on just before serving them. The M&Ms will "run" when they are defrosting and colour will run down the ghost. This will not happen if you use mini chocolate chips. This idea appears in Richardson and Tack's book "what's new cupcake" I have also seen similar ideas in food magazines. Music by Jason Shaw Jason Shaw@audionaut

Snickers Bar Candy Cupcakes
Snickers Bar Candy Cupcakes
I am just typing out this recipe and I realized that the recipe called for two 3 ounce packages of cream cheese NOT two 8 ounce !!! No wonder I had so much filling!! This is after I tell you all in the video to read the recipe carefully before starting, LOL!! :) That being said though, I don't regret using all that cream cheese because these cupcakes were to die for! Filling: 2 packages (3oz each) cream cheese 2 tbsp powdered sugar 1 egg 2 snickers bars chopped up (I bet you could use whatever chocolate bar you wanted for this recipe) I also know that I'm going to get comments asking if they can substitute something else other than snickers because they are allergic to peanuts. These people will NOT have read this before asking. Thank you to all of you who actually ARE reading this, you rock! Cupcakes: 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup buttermilk 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla Frosting: 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup butter or margarine 3 tbsp milk 1 1/2 cups (or more) of powdered sugar 1 snickers bar chopped for garnish if desired. Heat oven to 350F. place baking cups in each of 18 regular size muffin cups. In small bowl beat cream cheese, 2tbsp powdered sugar and the egg with the electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. With spoon stir in 2 chopped candy bars, set aside. In large bowl, mix flour granulated sugar, cocoa baking soda and salt. Add buttermilk, oil and vanilla, beat 2 ...

TV Dinner Cupcakes
TV Dinner Cupcakes
I got this idea from the Hello Cupcake book, lots of cool ideas in there! Pumpkin Cake recipe: 2 1/2 c. sugar 2 1/2 c. all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. EACH of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and allspice (I actually use a little less than a tsp) 15 oz. can of pureed pumpkin, NOT pumpkin pie filling 1 c. vegetable oil 3 eggs, lightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350. Prepare pans by either using baking spray or grease and flour. Mix together dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In large bowl combine wet ingredients until creamy. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing until just combined. Bake 18-25 minutes if making cupcakes, 35-45 minutes if using 2 cake pans. This recipe will make 24 cupcakes or a 2 layer 8" or 9" cake. The ice cream scoop only works on thicker batters, for my chocolate cake I use a measuring cup to pour. I've noticed that my cream cheese frosting doesn't taste very good right away, for some reason the flavors take a little longer to meld. Once they have though....YUM. This recipe should NOT be left out at room tempterature for longer than the time it takes to decorate the cake. I only needed to add 1/4 c. of cream but you could add less and have it still turn out well. One warning, if your kitchen is warm, DON'T add any liquid until all the sugar is in, you might not need it. Cream Cheese Frosting 1 ...

Let's learn with Sonia how to prepare the basic cupcakes, the popular American small cakes that, once baked, can be topped and decorated in a number of ways! *** Today we'll be making together the cupcakes, the popular American small cakes: I'll show you how to prepare the basic cupcake batter, that, once baked, can be topped and decorated in a number of ways. Let's see what ingredients we'll need: • 1 cup (120 g) of flour • 2 medium eggs • 1/8 tsp (1 sachet) of vanilla powder or 1 tsp of vanilla extract • ½ tsp (2 g) of baking powder • just over ½ cup (120 g) of sugar • 1 stick (120 g) of butter • the grated zest of ½ organic lemon • 1 pinch of salt Let's make together the cupcakes: Put the softened butter in a bowl, then add the sugar and the vanilla... and keep beating until you have a smooth, even and foamy mixture. When the mixture is foamy, add the grated lemon zest and the salt; now add the eggs at room temperature, one at a time, and keep beating until creamy. Now add the sifted flour and baking powder, mix well with a wooden spoon and the cupcake batter is ready. Place 12 paper baking cups in a cupcake pan, and divide the batter. Now, bake in a static oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes. 20 min. - 350°F (180°C) Once the cupcakes are cooked, take them out of the oven and let them cool completely. Red, White and Blue Tie Dye Cupcakes
The name of this was originally Red, White and tie-dye cupcakes without the Blue in it. I found this decorating style on the Betty Crocker website an. The vanilla cupcakes recipe will be uploaded either later today or tomorrow. I got this question on my last tie dye rainbow cupcake recipe way too many times: "Do I have to use the Wilton dyes? Can I just use the liquid stuff?" The answer to that is up to you. You are the boss of you. However, if you do use those little liquidy things, your color payoff is not going to be as bright, vivid, in your face as these Wilton icing dyes are. They are a little pricey here in Hawaii but I am sure they are much cheaper on the mainland. Spend a couple of bucks and get some! Anyway!! Here are your step by step instructions on how to make these tie dye (rainbow like) cupcakes. Take whatever white cake recipe you are using for your cupcakes and divide it into three bowls evenly. (The vanilla cupcake recipe is perfect for this). Keep one white, dye the others red and blue. You will be putting six total teaspoonfulls into each cupcake. Use white cupcake liners so people can see the beautiful red, white and blue colors of the cupcake. The name of the game to these tie dye/rainbow cupcakes is PATIENCE. You can slop it in, but the different colors will climb up the sides of your cupcake and not make the red, white and blue print on the cupcake liner as cool looking. Start with red, cover the bottom with the two teaspoonfulls and make sure it ...

Decorating Cupcakes #15: Halloween Mummy cupcake
How to use simple decorating techniques to make a mummy cupcakes. I don't use the plastic bag technique in this one. If you plan on decorating cakes or cupcakes in the future I recommend you buy a basic decorator tip set. They can be purchased relatively cheaply. I use a tip called a basket weave tip that makes a ribbon shape with the icing. This idea was found in a Halloween edition of a magazine. Music by Jason Shaw

Betty's Happy Halloween Vanilla Cupcake Icing
Betty's Happy Halloween Vanilla Cupcake Icing
In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Happy Halloween Vanilla Cupcake Icing. This is a buttercream icing that is easy to make and spread on cupcakes. I previously uploaded a video on making Happy Halloween Vanilla Cupcakes, and this current recipe is used to ice those cupcakes. Since I made orange cupcakes and white cupcakes, in this video I make orange-colored ice and white-colored icing. My grandson, Carter, comes in toward the end of the video to help decorate the cupcakes. Ingredients: ¼ cup butter, softened to room temperature 3 cups confectioner's sugar (icing sugar) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 tablespoons water (more may be added, if needed) dash of salt 10 drops yellow food coloring 1 drop red food coloring To a large mixing bowl, add ¼ cup softened butter, 3 cups confectioner's sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 3 tablespoons water. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth. Add more sugar to thicken or water to thin, if needed, for good spreading consistency. Divide icing into two equal parts. To one part add 10 drops of yellow food coloring and 1 drop of red food coloring. Stir thoroughly to get a nice orange color for this half of the icing. Leave the other half white. Spread icing immediately as desired on cooled cupcakes. Decorate tops of cupcakes with candy corn or other Halloween-themed candy. Place on a nice serving plate until ready to serve. This icing will harden on the outside, making the cupcakes easy to handle. You should do any decorating while ...

Banana Pudding Cupcakes
Product Review Video: This is my review of Philadelphia's New Cooking Creme! (original flavor) I was given the chance to sample these new cremes and create recipes using them. This recipe is for banana pudding cupcakes! They capture the flavors of banana pudding beautiful. The cooking creme balances out the sweetness and makes these babies soooo moist!!! The mashed, fresh bananas really add that hint of homemade to the boxed French Vanilla cake mix.
