I'm on vacation I'm always on the lookout for a good bakery. I can bake my own stuff when I'm at home but I love getting tasty baked goods when we're away. Anyway, all week long I searched, my husband searched, trying to find one until finally on our last day we accidentally found it. We had passed one the day before but the sign had said closed, so we tried to go there again but our GPS directed us to a bakery a few doors up. And I'm glad it did! The woman there was so nice and we bought some delicious danishes and something called a butter cake. For those of you out there with a sweet tooth like mine this is a must. It was kind of like a pie, with a danish crust and the middle was gooey, buttery, melted sugary something that was SOOOO good!! Thank you again to this wonderful woman, and thanks for the extras *wink wink*, can't wait to try them out!! The address and phone number is: Bayside Bakery 1 Wildwood Ave. Villas, NJ 08251 (609) 886-2627 I really needed a 'win' after that last cake disaster! I was so thankful these turned out well, I hope to do them again with more flowers. I have to say that I really don't like my new yellow that I bought from Wilton. It's called Buttercup Yellow but it just seems so....blah....and kind of orange. I will be replacing that with the norm-Golden Yellow. Yeah I'm picky, but you know if the colors don't mesh it throws the whole thing off!! Music: Symphony No. 35 <b>...</b>

Link to all my videos: www.youtube.com I thought the music might help soothe the frazzled nerves of the caker who is struggling with those PITN (pain in the neck) roses. I was never fond of making roses, right from the beginning. My consistency would start out stiff but my heater hands would break down the frosting after just one rose. I did what any sensible person would do (sensible meaning 'I like my recipe and am too stubborn to add/subtract anything'), I stopped using the nail and started piping right on the cake. My frosting no longer needed to be stiff, the petals could droop a little but I never needed to worry about it again. Until I wanted to teach a class about it. I got a stick, a nail, and a cookie sheet and got to work. Each method was fine but the nail in particular was still bugging me. I gave up that day, did some praying and got to work the next day. Come to find out, by changing direction (turning the nail clockwise instead of counter-clockwise) and tilting the nail I was finally able to have success. My problem was not being able to focus on everything at once, turning the nail, pressure control, and how to tilt the tip. What worked with the nail also worked with the stick, I tilted the stick away from me. Now the problem was consistency. Roses need to be piped with a stiffer consistency when you're using the nail or stick, otherwise the petals will droop or worse, the rose will fall. Since I AM stubborn with my recipe, the <b>...</b>

La prima ricetta per decorare cupecakes e torte velocemente ma con un bellissimo effetto! Vi assicuro che il sapore è buonissimo e non sa così tanto di burro come pensavo! Per quanto riguarda i coloranti e le decorazioni varie di cui vi parlo nel video io le ho trovare nei punti vendita decora (distrubutore ufficiale della wilton in italia), li potete trovare consultando il sito: www.decora.it Ingredienti: -50 gr burro morbido -200 gr zucchero a velo -35 gr panna fresca -1 bustina di vanillina Twitter: Fan Page
